Around the World in 40 hours
Cub Day Camp
August 10-14, 2009
Camp Plymouth State Park
This week-long event will expose your son to the excitement of Cub Scout Camp, mirroring our beloved Camp Sunrise!
Since the Cub Scout Resident camp theme is “The World Around us", we will be taking an exciting whirl-wind trip around the world in 40 hours. Each day, we will be arriving on a different continent, taking in all the sights and sounds the world has to offer. We will have passports and arrivals at airports around the world. All the Activities for the day will be suited for the continent we have arrived on, and include the well loved events we have at Camp Sunrise. We will also be taking a hike to the old OA Campground where many ceremonies were held when Camp Plymouth was a Boy Scout camp!
So Pack your bags, buckle your seatbelts, keep your trays in the upright position and get ready for the ride!
Our Itinerary will be as follows:
- Monday: we arrive in South America, Cooling off quickly and stopping in Antarctica
- Tuesday: we're on to Europe
